Terms & Conditions

  1. Consultations and quotations are free of charge. 
  2. Following the initial consultation, the tuki partner will state the work agreed and the hourly rate in writing. 
  3. Responsibility of final proof-reading of documents and checking of work lies with the client and any errors notified within 2 working days of receipt will be corrected free of charge. After 2 working days it shall be deemed that the work has been accepted as free of errors and omissions and the tuki will accept no liability or loss arising from the performance of any services carried out under the agreement. Errors or omissions reported after 2 working days will still be corrected but the additional time spent will be charged to the client. 
  4. We will not be liable for any losses you might sustain arising directly or indirectly from our work. 
  5. Confidentiality: We guarantee the highest level of confidentiality at all times, and all of our Virtual Assistants sign a confidentiality agreement held by tuki. We do not pass or sell client information on to third parties unless requested to do so by the client. If required we are happy to sign a confidentiality agreement between tuki and the client. 
  6. Payment Terms: Invoices are subject to VAT at 20% Invoices are payable upon receipt of invoice and will be sent by email to the client (unless otherwise requested by the client to send by mail). Payments not received after 14 days will be deemed overdue and will be subject to a 10% late payment charge. In the event that payment is not received after 10 weeks from the due date, we will instruct our legal representatives to handle matters, for which clients may incur additional fees. One off projects will be invoiced on completion of the project. Ongoing projects will be invoiced on the last day of each calendar month. The hourly pay as you go rate will be billed in 15 minute increments, with time rounded up to the nearest quarter of an hour. The minimum invoice amount is one hour.
  7. Expenses: Any expenses incurred will be charged at cost and receipts provided. Mileage if required will be charged at the normal Inland Revenue rate of 45p per mile. 
  8. Any work that tuki agrees to complete outside of normal working hours (Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm) will be charged at double the standard rate.
